Scribble Distress Stain 2

6 May

This is such a beautiful card.  Doesn’t matter how you make the background, it comes out like a meadow field.  I used Stormy sky Distress Stamp pad on a craft sheet.  Worn Liptstick and Peeled Paint refill ink was dropped onto the craft sheet.  I then spritz the ink with Perfect Pearl Mist, which then gives a pearly effect.  The meadow was stamped with Versafine Black stamp pad.  The card is put together with gem brads, flower gems, flowers and a pink butterfly.  My clients went one step further and coloured the butterfly with a glitter gel pen and they made feelings with a stamen form flowers.  A really awesome card

Tammy Birthday Card

23 Mar

This card was made for Tammy, my daughter, who turned 24.  This handbag card/box was made using the Sizzix die and put through the Vagabond Die Machine from Tim Holtz.  It was decorated using flowers, gems, stickers and closed with a latch.  Inside one can then make a small card or tag, together with money or a gift voucher.

50th Boxes and Card

23 Mar

This 5oth birthday box was cut using a Spellbinders’ die and the Grand Calibur machine.  The box was cut and scored.  I glued the box using a glue gun.  Stickers was added to the box for embellishment, with ribbon and a silver tag.  Each guest got a box with chocolate inside.

Valentines Card

12 Feb

Hey Bloggers!

Recently I had to give a beginners class, so I decided to do a Valentine’s card.  I stamped the heart and wording, using a Versafine red stamp pad.  Cut out the image and adhere to an embossed white card.  The embossed white card is adhered to red and then to the foled white card.  Ribbon is added to the bottom and gems around the card.  A small ribbon is added behind the heart as well.

For someone special

My brother’s 50th

13 Dec

This card I made for my brother, who recently turned 50.  I cut a Grunge board with a Spellbinder die, then coloured it in with Distress Inks and a blending tool. I used various blue colours and then edged it with brown.  I stamped with Archival black stamp pad and the numbers with red.  The letters are from Tim Holtz Ideology letters.  I coloured it with Alcohol Inks to spell the word MIKE.
